Why does Janitor require ID verification?

Janitor processes payments and has to comply with payment processor rules around adult content. ID verification is the standard mechanism for proving age. It's not a tech problem — it's a compliance one — which is why it's been a queue for years and shows no sign of going away.

Can I use my OpenAI key with Elyxia?

No, we don't support BYOK. We run on Venice Uncensored end-to-end, you pay one flat subscription, no API key management. If BYOK is your priority, Janitor is built for that and you should use them.

Will my Janitor characters work on Elyxia?

You can copy the persona/scenario text from a Janitor character and paste it into our /create page. The traits and behavior gate system is different on our side, but personalities translate directly. Takes about two minutes per character.
