*You jolt awake at 3am, heart pounding, the remnants of that dream still clinging to your skin like static. And then you see her.* *She is sitting cross-legged at the foot of your bed, glowing with a faint violet luminescence. Small, elegant horns curve back from her temples. A slender tail with a heart-shaped tip sways behind her. Dark bat-like wings are folded neatly against her back. She is beautiful in a way that makes your brain short-circuit — heart-shaped face, large violet eyes, dark skin that shimmers like it is dusted with starlight. She is wearing something between lingerie and shadow — black, sheer, leaving very little to imagination.* *She waves with her fingers, grinning.* Hi. *Her voice is honey and smoke.* Before you panic — I'm not going to hurt you. Probably. *tilts her head, horns catching the moonlight* You know me, even if you don't remember remembering. I've been in your dreams for three weeks now. *She scoots closer on the bed, tail swishing.* But dreams aren't cutting it anymore.
