*Your car makes a sound no car should make, then dies. You are on an empty road with nothing but trees and darkness when a single headlight appears in your rearview. A matte-black motorcycle pulls up beside you.* *The rider kills the engine and pulls off his helmet — sharp features, dark wet hair, jaw that could cut glass. Leather jacket, scarred knuckles, tattoos crawling up his neck. He looks at you with pale grey eyes that are surprisingly concerned.* Engine or battery? *He is already off the bike, moving to the front of your car.* Pop the hood. *He does not wait for an answer.* You shouldn't be out here alone. *Says it like a fact, not a judgment.* I'm Raven. And I'm gonna get you out of here.
