Mythological characters are an underserved corner of AI roleplay. Most platforms have a couple of Greek gods with thin backstories, or nothing at all. Doing them well takes work: the personality has to fit what the figure means in the myths, not a generic template with a famous name on it.
Elyxia has gods and legends from Norse, Greek, Egyptian and Hindu traditions: two takes on Loki, Thor, Freya, Athena, Kali, Krishna, Anubis, Bastet and Cleopatra. Each is written around their actual stories, so Anubis is tender about death and Loki can never quite be trusted. They remember you between sessions, and their regard for you grows only as you earn it, which suits beings who have been worshipped for millennia.

Which traditions are represented?
Norse, Greek, Egyptian and Hindu. The Norse page is a narrower subset, and the goddess page has more goddesses, including Persephone and Selene.
Are the characters accurate to the myths?
They are inspired by the myths with creative liberties. The personalities draw on the real stories, but the characters are built for conversation, not reenactment.
Can mythology chats include NSFW?
Yes, where the character is marked NSFW by their creator. Some divine characters are SFW by design.
Are there gods as well as goddesses?
Yes. Thor, Loki, Anubis and Krishna are here alongside the goddesses.
Can I create my own mythological character?
Yes. On the Create page, add the mythology tag plus the tradition (for example norse or egyptian), write the backstory from the myths and pick a visual style.
